Multitopic relations based ranking method for multidocument summarization of news reports

Abstract: An approach to modern methods and algorithms of multidocument summarization is described. The main disadvantages of these methods are substantiated. Requirements for a method that could overcome these shortcomings are described. In this paper the method developed by the author thematically related rankings to automatically generate summary abstracts is considered. As evidence of the effectiveness of the developed method the results of experimental evaluation of the quality obtained summary abstracts are described.
