Abstract: The Pareto set reduction axiomatic approach is used in this paper to solve multicriteria choice problem. An aim is to construct an upper estimate for unknown set of selected alternatives. It is settled how to reduce the set of compromise alternatives using compound closed information on the preference relation of the decision maker. An illustrative example is given.
