Abstract:
The essential conceptions of cognitive semantics [Lakoff, 1987] are considered. These conceptions based on the thesis that cognitive structures and mechanisms of a man depend on his sensor mechanisms, physical and social experience. The possibilities of applications of these conceptions for artificial intelligence problems are discussed.
