Decision data support system for UAV landing on moving ship

Abstract:
Use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) on small-sized ships has been studied in this research. The given decision data support system herein is designed for Operator of ship’s data management system and provides maneuver and landing options based on analysis of environment conditions, UAV’s and ship’s movement dynamics. Available alternatives are the following: “dry” landing on girder or crane, missed approach for landing, landing on water with parachute.
