The problem of group pursuit of a target in a perturbed environment (spatial case)

Abstract:
The generalization of the results obtained by the author for the solution of collective pursuit problems, covering the strategic and tactical levels of participants’ behavior is given. The proposed approach is based on a combination of methods of intelligent and geometric control of dynamic objects, which we assume are unmanned aerial vehicles. In the process of problem solving, each aircraft implements behavioral strategies by following the proposed rules of orientation angles and velocity selection. Pontryagin's maximum principle and a geometric approach are applied to construct the control angles. The general simulation scheme of the pursuit process that takes into account the mathematical models of FVs and the wind disturbances is provided and experimental researches for the solution of the specified problems is modeled in a perturbed environment.
