Abstract: Science and art, literature and painting are the worlds in which Dmitry Aleksandrovich Pospelov left a noticeable legacy. Scientific quest was reflected in literary creation of D.A. Pospelov and fertilizes his new ideas. Virtuality, fused with reality, a mystical connotation can be found in his stories and poems. A deep understanding of the philosophy and painting of the space artist and mystic was reflected in a monograph about the creative work of Peter Fateev.
Keywords: world model, ontology of the world, symbols in art and science, D.A. Pospelov’s literary work, philosophy and painting.
