Some actual problems of modeling of a goal-setting in sign world view: the psychologist's point of view
N. V. Chudova Federal Research Center "Computer Science and Control" of Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia
Abstract:
The article presents a psychological perspective on the limitations of the planning approach, known as “Modeling Sign World View”; the possibilities of overcoming these limitations are considered in the context of cognitive psychology. It is claimed that Sign World View is necessary in certain situations: an energization in a barrier situation, an insight, a “top-down” movement, a joining (or an identification). It is also argued that the demands made to the modeling of a goal-setting depend on the nature of the most important mechanisms for new motives and resulting meanings forming: “motive shifting on goal” and cognitive dissonance.
Keywords:
Sign World View, modeling, mental processes, mechanisms of motivation.
