Abstract: The electrocaloric effect and also the dielectric, pyroelectric, acoustic, and piezoelectric properties of a lead magnoniobate–scandoniobate solid solution in a biasing electric field have been studied. The dielectric and electromechanical contributions to the pyroelectric and electrocaloric effects are discussed.
