Crystallization in the presence of a flow

Abstract: A method of calculating the size distribution of supercritical nuclei in the presence of flows in a melt or in a vapor for the first-order phase transition, namely, for crystallization or condensation, has been proposed. The method is confirmed by the comparison with the results of experimental studies of centrifugal casting of Al.
