Energy spectrum and optical absorption spectrum of fullerene C$_{24}$ within the Hubbard model

Abstract: The anticommutator Green's functions and the energy spectra of fullerene C$_{24}$ with the symmetry groups D$_6$, D6$_d$, and O$_h$ were obtained in an analytical form within the framework of the Hubbard model, in the static fluctuation approximation. Using the methods of the group theory, the energy states are classified, and the allowed transitions in the energy spectra of fullerene C$_{24}$ are determined.
