Abstract:
Increasing the static strength of materials used in extreme operating conditions does not allow us to estimate reliability of the final products. In the article, aluminum and titanium alloys are used to show features of material deformation, which are detected when strain rate increases. Possibility of selecting a suitable material for the specified operating conditions in the framework of a structural-time approach is discussed.
