Abstract:
The lattice dynamics of a strontium ferrotungstate SrFe$_{2/3}$W$_{1/3}$O$_{3}$ ceramics is studied by the Raman spectroscopy method in the temperature range 300–700 K. The analysis of the Raman spectra confirms the tetragonal symmetry of strontium ferrotungstate, and this result agrees with the X-ray diffraction data. The features of the temperature behavior of phonon modes of the strontium ferrotungstate have been revealed and it is shown that a smeared phase transition from the tetragonal to the cubic phase takes place at temperatures 410–500 K.
