Abstract:
Based on a general analytical approach supported with results of model numerical calculations, the possibility of developing periodic layered impurity structures formed during nonequilibrium phase transitions in diluted ternary alloys and targeted control of their properties are discussed. Spatial profiles of dopant concentrations in the solid product phase are calculated.
Keywords:
multicomponent alloys, phase transitions, temperature gradient, mobile impurities, parameter control of periodic impurity superstructures.
