Abstract:
For an ellipsoidal nanoparticle with a cubic magnetic anisotropy, the conditions for the establishment of various equilibrium states after the action of a short Gaussian magnetic field pulse are revealed. The transition to each of these states can be realized by changing the pulse parameters. A significant influence of the deviation of the particle shape from the spherical one on the processes of magnetization reversal is revealed.
