Abstract:
The horizontal rotatory vestibular nystagmus in healthy people and in patients suffering from cerebral spastic infantile paralysis is studied in the paper by videooculography method. A statistically significant difference in nystagmus characteristic in these two groups was noted. A mathematical model of vestibular nystagmus was proposed. Two sets of parameters of the model were fitted for predicted trajectories to correspond statistically with experimental nystagmus records.
