Cournot and Stackelberg strategies in the case of several companies

B. O. Kuliev

M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University
Abstract: The classical Cournot and Stackelberg strategies for the case of two companies are generalized to the case of several companies. The Nash stability of Cournot strategy for the several companies case is investigated. A characterization theorem for Cournot strategy is given for the case of many companies.
