On the removability of singularities of $CR$-functions

It is shown that any holomorphically convex compact set $K$ on a real analytic hypersurface $\Gamma$ in $\mathbb C^n$ ($n>2$) is a removable set for $CR$-hyperfunctions defined on $\Gamma\setminus K$.
