Asimptotics of contrast extremals in simplest vector variational problem

We investigate contrast structures “trajectories with inner and outer boundary layers” in simplest vector variational problem. We prove that spike structures are connected with the points of local maximum and passage structures — with points of global maximum of some characteristic functional.
