The intersections of nilpotent subgroups in finite groups

V. I. Zenkov

Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences
Abstract: The review of results connected with second $p^aq^b$-theorem of Burnside is given. The historically first results (the theorems about intersections of Sylow subgroups in solvable groups) as well as modern ones with their proofs about intersections of Sylow subgroups in any finite groups is under consideration.
