Abstract: A mathematical model of synthesis in a mechanically activated $3\mathrm{Ni}$$\mathrm{Al}$ is constructed in a macroscopic approximation. Different combustion regimes as a function of duration of mechanical activation and the time of the isothermal exposure of the mechanical mixture are determined. Experimental data are used to calculate kinetic constants that characterize the transformation of the substance at the stage of mechanical treatment.
