Abstract:
Kinetic analysis of the mechanism of chemical conversion of SO$_2$ in a coupled radical-chain process in low-temperature low-pressure oxyhydrogen flames has been performed. The set of possible elementary reactions is considered, and the main routes of SO$_2$ conversion to elemental sulfur are identified.
Keywords:
sulfur, sulfur dioxide, chain reaction, free radicals, low-temperature flame.
