Effect of the gas delivery rate under a soil layer on the result of the combined action of gas sources
V. V. Borovikov, A. S. Ivanov Leningrad
Abstract:
The effect of the gas delivery rate under a soil layer on the result of the combined action of gas sources was examined. It was established that with a decrease of the gas flow rate, the distance between two adjacent sources, when a common crater is formed, decreases. Relations were obtained for determining the distance between sources at which characteristic effects occur depending on the gas flow rate, line of least resistance, and blasting factor: a common crater of regular shape, a common crater oval in plan, and separate craters.
