Anomalous phenomena accompanying pulsed surface loading
G. A. Adadurov, A. F. Belikova, S. N. Buravova Chernogolovka
Abstract:
Reports of the anomalous behavior of mass transfer and the superdeep penetration of the particles into a barrier with pulsed loading may be attributed to failure to take account of the damage processes accompanying the strengthening of the surface layer. Channel regions of expansion or discontinuity appear under the zone of load application and are associated with focusing of lateral unloading waves.
