Nitric oxide conversion in hydrocarbon-fuel flames in two-step combustion

Abstract: On the basis of the kinetic model of nitrogen oxide conversion in hydrocarbon-fuel combustion, the stages of NO conversion are calculated and the degree of conversion in multistage combustion is determined. The calculation results are compared with industrial test data. The limiting degree of conversion in industrial-furnace conditions is estimated.
