Abstract: Thermal explosions of gaseous media containing inert dust particles are examined. The critical conditions for a thermal explosion are determined using integral manifolds. An asymptotic formula for calculating the critical conditions for thermal explosions with an autocatalytic combustion reaction is obtained.
