Modeling of nonsteady-state combustion of solid propellants with subsurface gasification of volatiles

Abstract: The nonsteady-state combustion of two-component solid propellants whose components are gasified at different temperatures is studied theoretically. It is shown that in nonstationary combustion regimes the volatile-component fraction of total gas mass flow changes appreciably.
