Experimental studies of the combustion mechanism of water-base foams filled with fuel gases
V. V. Zamashchikov, N. A. Kakutkina Novosibirsk
Abstract:
The burning rates of water-base foams have been studied experimentally depending on foam multiplicity, dispersity, the type and composition of fuel gas mixture filling the foam bubbles, and the composition of liquid-phase foam. It has been shown that, in the general case, the burning rate of foams is a nonmonotonic function of multiplicity.
