Abstract: A model is proposed for the long-range directional dispersal of a powder as a pulsed jet, which is based on differential equations, which are solved by analytic and rumerical methods. Detailed consideration of the processes and the measurements gives conclusions on the advantages of explosive projection of fire-extinguishing powders.
