A method for producing oxide powders

Abstract: The reported investigation was dedicated to a new method of producing oxide powders [1], which includes the heating and oxidation of a powdered metal at a temperature above its boiling temperature $T_b$ in an oxidizing gaseous medium, a condensation of the vapor attended by the formation of particles and a subsequent acceleration of the oxide particles to a supersonic velocity in a gas stream and their recovery with a coolant stream.
