Propagation of plane supercompressed detonation waves in gases

Abstract:
An approximate mathematical model has been constructed for the propagation of plane supercompressed detonation waves in gases. An exact analytical solution of the Riemann wave type has been obtained and so have approximate analytical solutions that describe the excitation and attenuation of supercompressed waves when detonation is initiated in the galloping mode.
