Abstract: Homogeneous nucleation is regarded as one of the main reasons for the increasing rate of thermal decomposition of condensed systems under heating. The problems of practical applications of attainable superheat temperatures are discussed. New experimental data on the attainable superheat temperatures for exposives are reported.
