Throwing of an unsealed heavy body by a two-phase flow

Abstract: Throwing of a heavy body by unsteady two-phase (powder-gas) flow without using a special seal is considered. Experimental dependences for the body muzzle velocity are presented, which allow one to estimate the feasible kinetic energy of the body at a given gas pressure in the pores and given geometrical parameters of the body.
