Calculation of the detonation parameters of acetylene mixtures

A. I. Valishev

Lavrentyev Institute of Hydrodynamics of Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Novosibirsk 630090
Abstract: The detonation parameters of mixtures of acetylene with oxygen and air are calculated over a wide rage of concentrations. The heat of condensation of carbon is shown to be a major source of energy supply to the detonation wave at high acetylene contents.
