Abstract: A method for estimating sensitivity of commercial explosives to practical types of initiation – No. 8 blasting cap, a detonating fuse, and a booster – is proposed. The results of experiments with AS-8A granulite, granulotrinitrotoluene, and 79/21 grammonite of bulk density are given.
