Ignition and transition to unsteady combustion of metallized composite systems

Abstract:
Some additional relations for the previously published mathematical model are obtained. They allow one to take into account heat release from agglomerates of metal particles burning in the reacting layer of a composite propellant in a vapor-gas state. The results of numerical calculations of ignition and transition to combustion for a composite propellant with variation in the ratio of the components and parameters of the ambient medium are given.
