Characteristics of the evolution of plane and spherical shock waves in dense media
A. L. Bugrimov Dzerzhinskii Military Academy, 103074, Moscow
Abstract:
Relations that describe the evolution of plane and spherical weak shock waves in dense media are obtained based on the momentum conservation law for a shock-wave pulse having a saw-tooth shape. With distance from the center of spherical shock-wave pulse generation, the dependences which describe its evolution asymptotically becomes those which describe the evolution of a plane pulse.
