Abstract:
Formation of nitric oxide in the combustion of methane–air mixtures of various compositions was studied numerically. The system of equations takes into account 196 direct and reverse elementary chemical reactions for 32 substances. A procedure for unified numerical calculation of the indicated process at the flame front and at large distances from it is described.
