Abstract:
A new technique for studying the combustion dynamics and entrainment of lowvolatile fuel particles is proposed. It is based on simultaneous measurements of “thermometric” and pyrometric (color) temperatures. The technique permits a detailed study of time phases and mass rates of combustion of fuel particles in a wide range of regime parameters.
