Abstract:
Results of combustion studies in channels are presented. These researches deal with anomalous phenomena in steady turbulent flows: unsteady heat transfer, two-layer flow, oscillations of a gas column of different intensity and frequency. Under certain conditions, these phenomena lead to substantial redistributions of enthalphy and stagnation pressure at the exit of the combustion chamber, which significantly affects the integral characteristics of the combustor.
