Combustion of dispersing porous monoblock fuels in a semiclosed volume

Abstract:
Combustion of dispersing monoblock charges in a nozzle bomb were studied experimentally. Two mathematical models of different complexity are proposed for the description of the processes. From a comparison of calculated and experimental time dependences of the pressure in the bomb volume, effective laws of combustion and dispersion of the fuel are established and the dynamics of the disperse mixture formed is studied.
