Effect of inorganic salts on the detonation of ammonium-nitrate-based sensitized by aluminum powder

Abstract:
The paper reports results of studies of the detonation velocity and critical diameter for free-flowing and slurry ammonium-nitrate-based explosives sensitized by an aluminum powder and containing sodium chloride and barium sulfate. An explanation of the results is offered.
