Stable and critical regimes of heat and mass transfer of a carbon particle in a laser-radiation field

Abstract:
A method for description and analysis of heat and mass transfer of a carbon particle in a laser-radiation field is proposed. Regular features of the critical diameters and temperatures depending on the absorbed intensity of laser radiation at low and high temperatures of air and the conditions for hysteresis dependences of the particle temperature on its diameter and intensity of laser radiation are found and analyzed.
