Abstract: The conditions for ignition of compact specimens and a foil made of iron, nickel, copper, and stainless steel in oxygen under pressures of 0.1–70 MPa are studied with the use of modified equations and dimensionless parameters of the heat theory of ignition of metal particles. Calculation results are compared with experimental data.
