Abstract:
Detonation and physicochemical properties of several cannon powders were studied. Dependences of the critical diameter and detonation velocity of heptachannel pyroxylin powders on the powder element diameter were determined. The mechanism of detonation propagation over a charge was studied for various positions of the powder elements relative to one another and to the shock-wave front.
