Abstract: Concepts of local curvatures of the combustion front (“roughnesses”) caused by penetration of the melt into the heating zone are developed. Based on the estimates of characteristic times and scales of individual stages, different combustion modes and their relation with the structural parameters of the initial mixture are revealed.
