Thermal explosion of a plate under boundary conditions of the second and third kinds

Abstract: The critical conditions for a thermal explosion of a plane layer under boundary conditions of the second and third kinds specified on its surfaces are studied. The critical Frank–Kamenetskii parameter is calculated. Approximating functions used to determine the critical parameter are given.
