Abstract:
It is found experimentally that the extinguishing concentration of trifluoroidomethane depends on the type of ignition source. It is shown that the minimum extinguishing concentration of trifluoroidomethane is at least 45% for methane–air mixtures and 50% for heptane–air mixtures.
