Combustion modes of a strongly diluted Ti + 2B system

Abstract:
Combustion modes of a Ti + 2B system with a high mass content of copper and iron (63–83%) are studied for various initial temperatures and compositions of the specimens and the particle sizes of the reagents. The parametric domains of existence of high-velocity and low-velocity layer-by-layer and spin combustion modes are found.
