Abstract: Formally kinetic constants for the autoignition of methane–ammonia–oxygen–nitrogen mixtures were determined. The results obtained allow one to estimate the critical conditions and autoignition delays of the examined mixtures to assess the explosion hazard of reactors for the synthesis of hydrocyanic acid.
