N. N. Smirnov, V. F. Nikitin Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow, 119899
Abstract:
Results from theoretical and experimental studies of deflagration-to-detonation transition in hydrocarbon–air mixtures are reported. The effects of internal geometry, turbulence transition of the flow, and the temperature and fuel concentration in the unburned mixture on detonation initiation are considered.
Keywords:
deflagration, detonation, gas, turbulence, transition.
